Big Five of South Africa

I was very privileged to see & capture some shots of the Big Five of South Africa with my basic point & shoot camera. Black Rhino was the most elusive one though. I was very fortunate to see the new born cubs of a Cheetah.

After watching the Lion walk the path so majestically and with so much of grandeur, I could feel its power and realized that Lion is the King of jungle – was bit scary too specially the one eyed lioness walking with us for good 5 minutes.

Springboks, giraffes and zebras are amazing and very pretty animals to watch too. When asked by our naturalist / guide during our jungle safari as to which animals I fancy and wanted to watch now – I said giraffe and zebra since all other I have seen in India itself!
