“There are events in one’s life which, no matter how remote, never fade from memory”
― Jim Corbett, The Man-Eating Leopard of Rudraprayag
At Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan, India, I saw my first tiger in 2022 and that to so closely, it will definitely be a lifelong memorable event for me.
‘T-107’ or ‘T-124’ may just be numbers for the uninitiated, but for anyone following the Tiger in India, the letter ‘T’ brings so much joy as it stands for the Tiger (the Royal Bengal Tiger – our National Animal).
I am showcasing below the few of unique tigresses at Ranthambore – ‘Sultana T-107’ and ‘Riddhi T-124 [and now her three cubs too – two males and one female from my recent trip in 2025]’. Walking, playing, showing antics, so close and with so much of grace and sense of pride it is a a sight to behold. I have also shared their video clips on the video gallery link here. Please watch and enjoy this amazingly majestic animal – Tiger.
